The dental crown procedure at Dental Solutions New York is typically completed in two appointments. The first appointment is necessary to prepare the tooth, and the second is necessary to cement the permanent restoration after it has been fabricated by a dental lab. When having a dental crown placed, the treatment area will first be numbed with dental anesthetics. Once the area has been numbed, our dentist will remove any decay left on your tooth and shape it so that it can accommodate the new crown.
